The jewelry dude
The CHH Annual Sale is coming up, and I wanted a super cool display for my jewelry. Most of what’s going to be for sale there is going to be large and flat, and I don’t want my tiny little things to get lost in the shuffle. Sure, I could have gotten some kind of ornament tree, but that’s so boring and predictable! Instead I commissioned a wire sculpture from Zack, teenage son of my friend Laurie, who made this spectacular guy. Doesn’t he look like his arms are getting tired?
I’m still working on getting images of all these up and running. They’ve been taken, but not color-corrected, cropped, etc. I want to get all of them ready to go up on my Etsy site, but I hope lots of them will sell at the show. If you’re in Houston this Thursday through Saturday (8/21-23) get over to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and check it out!
