Well, I have just entered my first juried show. No, I won’t mention the name, just in case. But entering was more complicated and costly than I thought it would be, and I think it’s a situation I’ll be facing often. Half my stuff is jewelry and half is framed doilies – home decor. Shows don’t let you sell jewelry unless you enter in that category. But the category I want to be judged in is fiber arts or textiles. So I had to create two different profiles and enter the show twice. And pay two fees. Ouch.
