Springtime events
Winter is over, and Spring is here! There are a number of McCord Works events in April and May, including some new-to-me festivals!
First Saturday Arts Market is Houston’s longest running monthly outdoor fine arts event. And it’s my home! Featuring local and regional artists whose offerings include original paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, wood and metal arts, ceramics and fiber arts.
The CityCentre 2011 Spring Market takes place in West Houston. CityCentre is a vibrant, self-contained, pedestrian community of sophisticated retail, elegant dining, luxurious living and so much more.
The TAID (Texas Association for Interior Design) annual Art Gala, held at Skyline Art Services, benefits the TAID organization, a not for profit 501(c)6.
Finally, I am very honored to have been chosen for the Official Texas Arts & Crafts Fair. It’s an annual event held in Kerrville by the Texas Arts & Crafts Educational Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, to promote appreciation of fine arts and craft skills and create educational opportunities in the visual and creative arts in the State of Texas. If you’re in Kerrville over Memorial Day weekend, take a break from the Kerrville Folk Festival music and come see some art!
