Time conflict
There’s an art show early next summer that I did last year. It started off poorly but had a great Sunday finish. This year the show falls on the same weekend of my favorite music festival. I don’t just attend this music festival, I have some serious involvement with selling CDs, taking photos and videos, and sometimes even performing a bit on Saturday night. I love going to this every year.
The music festival moved from its traditional weekend, or else I wouldn’t have this problem. At first, I thought I’d blow off the art show in favor of the music festival. I’ve done it before, and I really, really love this music festival. And it’s okay to skip a moneymaking venture; it’s not like I don’t have a day job. Oops, except now I don’t have a day job. And the idea of voluntarily giving up an easy and potentially lucrative art show weekend doesn’t sit quite right.
I applied to the art show. If I don’t get in, I will happily go to the music festival. If I do get in, I have a hard decision to make.
